2026 EDITION OF THE PROJECT
The 2026 edition of the Stamp Out War: Support Ukraine! project will involve the creation of what's newly called philagraph in a popular vote by some philatelists on The Stamp Forum.

A philagraph is a philately-inspired artwork with at least one postage stamp and one postmark fixed on the image side that correspond to the same theme. Ideally, the location and/or the date of the postmark should also be related to the theme of the work. Beside the artistic idea behind the work and the artist's technical skill at the execution of the work, the degree of concordance between the artistic and philatelic elements is also taken into consideration when valuing such an artwork.
The idea of 'concordance' is borrowed from the concept of maxicard, except that a maxicard is based on a mass-product (a commercialised postcard), whereas a philagraph is based on an original and unique artwork.

Artistically-inclined people – whether formally trained / professional artists or not – around the world who are vocal about their support for Ukraine are welcome to join this creative project. Please contact us for more details.

EXAMPLE
Here is the first example of Ukraine Support Philagraph created in 2022 by the organiser of the project Linda. It's based on the design of the Canadian stamp 'Help for Ukraine' (2022) that features a sunflower.
Peace to Us (2022) by Linda: graphite, charcoal, colour pencil and watercolour on Arches Watercolour Hot Press Paper (300 gsm). 27.9 × 35.2 cm.
The postmarks obtained for this artwork are the dated postmark of 24 August 2022 from the Canadian town of Ukrainian settlement Myrnam (AB, whose name means literally 'peace to us' in Ukrainian), and the first-day-of-issue cancel that accompanies the release of the semi-postal stamp in 2022.
This very first Ukraine Support Philagraph has been auctioned off in 2023 in Vancouver, by All Nations Stamp and Coin, at the price of $275 (CAD).
